Our Mission

The original purpose of KeyboardTest.cc is to provide users with a truly simple and efficient environment for testing keyboards. We believe that diagnosing hardware issues shouldn't require downloading bulky software, navigating through endless ads, or compromising your privacy.

Here, anyone can check their keyboard's performance anytime, anywhere, quickly determining whether an issue is hardware- or software-related—without the need to install any programs or plugins.

Why We Built This

As avid typists and gamers ourselves, we experienced the frustration of keyboard ghosting, double-typing (chattering), and dead keys. Finding a reliable, browser-based tool that accurately measured input latency and N-Key Rollover (NKRO) without feeling cluttered was difficult.

So, we built one. Our virtual testing engine is designed to intercept physical key codes directly through the browser, providing real-time visual feedback and precise millisecond intervals.
